Glenview Costa Rica Gracie

Hi family! Yesterday we left the Carribean side of Costa Rica and traveled to the pacific side where we will climb a volcano, zip line, repelling from waterfalls, and going to hot springs! The drive to the Pacific side was very long. It took us 5 hours. On the bus my group played Risk on Mr. Rich’s iPad. Mr. Rich won twice. I lost miserably! When we got to our designation, we went to an animal rehab!! I was so excited! We saw endangered birds, some fish, lots of monkeys, and lots of other wild animals. One monkey peed on Mr. Rich’s head and the same monkey peed on my shoulder! We also got to feed all the animals. The monkeys would reach their hands out and grab the food from us. They were all so cute. We also got to hold a baby howler monkey! It was the cutest thing in the world. After the animals we drove to our hotel 30 minutes away. We each got a little cabin with a roommate. They are BEAUTIFUL! Today we are going to go zip lining and go to a hot spring. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Wish me luck! I’ll write about it how it went tonight or tomorrow morning. I love you all!
Love,
Gracie O. ❤

  1. Gracie,
It sounds like you are having an awesome time! I love reading what you guys get to do, what a great adventure!! How gross that the monkey peed on you, I probably would have screamed 😝. Have a great time zip lining, I know a few people who’ve done that in Costa Rica and they say it’s the coolest thing ever!
    Love,
    Anola
