Costa Rica adventure

Hi parents! Today we traveled by boat to a remote village, after a night filled with lightening, thunder and heavy rain. No one slept much! In the village we learned about sea turtles and how the local people are protecting the eggs from poachers. We had a local lunch and made necklaces, went to a craft fair, and saw some researchers dig up a nest that hatched a few days ago. Tomorrow we will drive 5 hours to the Arenal volcano and stay there 2 nights. Looking forward to electricity!
